“If people reach perfection they vanish, you know.” - The Once and Future King, T.H. White
Ryan Dalusung (they/them) is an American actor born in the Philippine city of Makati and raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Inspired by their deep love of the actor and the actor’s process—in cinema and in intimate theatre spaces—they eventually studied Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, fascinated by the character building techniques the style historically teaches.
Ryan’s past performances stretch across a handful of productions over a decade of work—largely on stage and from behind the microphone. Ryan often spends their time living quietly when not pursuing performative work.
Despite their modest career as an actor, Ryan’s privileged to have worked with several notable entities in their profession, including Colman Domingo at Baltimore's Everyman Theatre, or writer Kenneth Lin at DC's Arena Stage, and even the Library of Congress in DC to provide narrative voice talent for the blind community throughout the US.

Ryan is a member of the actors’ unions SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
